As the Owner and Director of Morningside Nannies, I feel that it is important for you to know me on a personal level and a business level.

As the mother of four daughters I personally experienced the lack of professionalism and screening that the existing domestic agencies offered in Houston. As a result I founded Nannies and Such in 1983, the first agency in Houston to specialize in the referral of nannies. Four years later I opened a second agency in San Francisco. Both offices were eventually sold. After acouple of years passed, I once again recognized the need for a nanny agency that was honest, objective and concerned about the well being of children. I founded Morningside Nannies in 1992.

On a professional note, I worked for 6 years in the personnel industry as an executive recruiter. My training in recruiting, interviewing and screening applicants for employment, coupled with my experience of employing nannies for my own family, has enabled me to set our agency standards very high. I can confirm that, "I will only refer nannies that I would consider hiring to care for my own children."

 

Morningside Nannies is exclusive in the fact that it is the only agency in Houston that is a `member of the Alliance of Professional Nanny Agencies and the National Association of Nannies. I have the honor of serving on the Board of Directors of the International Nanny Association (INA), and was elected President in 2001.
