Morningside was by far the best as compared to the other services we used!
I had an emergency situation and had a nanny sent over for the following day. I am so pleased with the service provided by Morningside Nannies. My son immediately fell in love with the nanny assigned to us. We couldn’t be happier.
As a new mom I was nervous about hiring a nanny, but now I couldn’t be more pleased. I’ve sung your praises to everyone I know.
In a time crunch you provided me with two excellent applicants within hours!
I described the person I wanted and that’s what you found for me. Thank you.
We made you work and you did! I was extremely picky! Thanks.
I am delighted with the outcome, and enjoyed the process.
Morningside Nannies only sent me nannies that fit my needs. I felt that I wasn’t sent the resume of everyone on file.
Quality of applicants was way above what we had hoped for. Thoroughly enjoyed working with your agency – we will highly recommend you to friends.
I liked the fact that you screened the candidates before sending them to us, rather than sending the candidate to me before I knew anything about them, like happened with (name withheld), your competition.
At Morningside Nannies, we require professional childcare related references to be considered for employment. We cannot accept family or friends as work references. If you hope to become a nanny, we suggest that gain at least two years of experience working in a daycare or nursery school.
No, Morningside Nannies does not charge nannies to apply for positions or require nannies to pay a fee once hired.
Nannies are expected to take on all child related duties. Typically, nannies are responsible for the children’s laundry, cleaning of the children’s bedroom and playroom and tidying up the kitchen after meals.
You may also be asked to do some grocery shopping, run child related errands, arrange play dates and possibly take the children to school or to doctor or dentist appointments.
Some families will ask that the nanny take care of the family’s laundry and some would appreciate it if the nanny would get the family dinner started for them.
In the Houston area, nannies generally earn from $10 to $18 per hour. Experience, educational background and salary history impact earning potential.
As soon as you leave our office, we contact your previous employers. When we have completed checking your references we will contact you and tell you about available positions. Once you have been offered a position, we will check your driving record and criminal history.
