Morningside Nannies is a proud supporter of many ongoing educational training events for nannies and has hosted a National Nanny Training Day event for nannies in the Houston area. Each year, there are local and national opportunities for nannies to improve their skills, increase their knowledge and network with other like-minded childcare professionals. Nannies who engage in continuing education are able to enchance their knowledge-base, skill set and marketability.

The Alexandria School based in Solon, Ohio is dedicated to providing advanced education for in-home childcare professionals. With both traditional and distance learning opportunities, the Alexandria School offers both nanny and newborn care specialist training.

Sullivan University »

In 1988, Sullivan began developing a Professional Nanny program and became members of the International Nanny Association. By 1992, an Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood Education was added to give students additional career options. Later, the program expanded virtually. All Professional Nanny and Early Childhood Education degree courses are offered at the Louisville and Lexington campuses in Kentucky as well as online.

Northwest Nannies Institute »

Established in 1984, Northwest Nannies Institute has been training and educating professional nannies. Based in Lake Oswego, Oregon, Northwest Nannies Institute has a host family program that provides room and board for the school’s students.
