Average room rates for guest rooms are in the neighborhood of $199 per night, but can fluctuate due to seasonal demands, the type of room you request at the time of booking, available resort packages and seasonal special events.

Amenities include the world-class Spa San Luis, a complete fitness center, a full-service salon and a boutique for shopping, a lighted, all-weather tennis court, heated swimming pool and grotto spa. Private Cabana rentals are available exclusively to guests.

Rooms range from standard guestrooms to penthouse suites, with the exclusive Club Ten guest rooms on the tenth floor. These rooms offer a selection of services and amenities not available to other guests of the resort, including rain shower heads, personal escorts to help you familiarize yourself with the property, and an innovative breakfast-in-bed service. Club Ten guests are also provided with complimentary VIP priority seating in The Cafe, The Steakhouse, and all Landry’s Restaurants on Galveston Island.

Standard guest rooms come with one king or two double beds, an overstuffed chair and ottoman with a reading lamp, a desk, three telephones, and iron and ironing board, coffeemaker and hair dryer. Deluxe King Rooms include a king-size bed, an unstocked wet bar with a mini-refrigerator, seating area and turn-down service. Executive VIP Level Rooms are located on the private-access fifteenth and sixteenth floors, with one king or two double beds, turn-down service, a coffee maker and a chair-and-ottoman combination with a reading lamp.

The high luxury of the Presidential and Ambassador Penthouse suites include private access on the concierge level, a dining area with room for six guests, an unstocked wet bar with a mini-refrigerator, a living area and one full bath with an joining room with  one king bed, bathrobes and available turn-down service.

Family Friendly Activities

Kids love the waterslide and plunge pool in the San Luis Resort’s heated swimming pool and grotto area, as well as the rock waterfall and acrylic-topped walkways that won’t burn sensitive little feet.
