Single professional mom is seeking a calm, organized, and dependable Nanny/Household Support Specialist to provide care for her 5- and 6-year-olds and targeted household support. Duties include transporting the children to and from school and activities, assisting with homework, and managing the afternoon and early evening routine. When the children are in school or otherwise occupied, household support tasks include assistance with family meal preparation, family laundry, errands, organization, and other household support. This family has a housekeeper, so there is no deep cleaning required. The parents are separated but maintain a cooperative coparenting relationship and are focused on providing consistency and normalcy for the children. Candidates should be comfortable navigating drop-offs and pickups and providing occasional care between two homes. The ideal candidate for this role is upbeat, calm, proactive, highly organized, and comfortable balancing childcare, transportation, and household responsibilities while helping the family’s busy routine run smoothly. Candidates seeking a long-term role are preferred. Nannies who actively engage children, strive to build and maintain solid relationships and who are calm but firm nannies will be a great fit for this family. Candidates comfortable navigating food allergies should apply. Candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish are encouraged to apply, but this is not required. The family has a pool, so candidates must know how to swim. This family can guarantee 40 hours per week and offer some flexibility around the core hours needed.
