Professional couple and first-time parents in Meyerland are seeking an experienced, nurturing, and engaging nanny to provide exceptional care for their 9-month-old beginning in December/January. This family values curiosity, learning, and child-centered caregiving and is looking for a nanny who will actively support their child's growth and development through meaningful engagement, exploration, and age-appropriate activities while limiting screen time. Candidates with a Montessori background or a similar child-led philosophy are encouraged to apply. The ideal nanny is warm, attentive, dependable, and passionate about child development. Responsibilities include providing attentive care, planning and engaging in developmentally appropriate activities and outings, supporting milestones, following established routines, and maintaining a safe environment that fosters curiosity and learning. This family would love to find a nanny who values open communication, enjoys partnering with parents, and can become a trusted part of their family's support system. Candidates who are bilingual in German are strongly encouraged to apply, although this is not a requirement. This family has cats, so candidates must be pet friendly. This job is available beginning December/January.
